William Blake said that, apparently. I saw it in the Autobiography of John Cowper Powys (he prefers colour to form). I googled it and there are 3 results with that quote (1 is the Annie Dillard Reader, 1 is the Autobiography of Powys, and 1 is a random blogspot, Soon there will be 4 as this post should be archived). 3 results. The internet is so fucking shit. A graveyard. How am I to even know he said that? Did he write it? Or was it something he said and his mate wrote it down later. Where did he write it? Unless you want to read propaganda, wank, or buy something the internet is fucking shit.
