In some unreal or hyperreal future, you find the very systems of education, knowledge, society, and rule of law escaping once again, as the vanquished ancients in their days of greatness and misfortune.

You are given a simple task, with full access to national, local, and world class city and university libraries:

You must save about three rooms worth of books/scrolls/documents from total destruction before the proverbial hot shit hits the proverbial ceiling fan.

You can name specific titles, as well as general subjects and themes of books. About three rooms max of physical paper and books, not counting digital media and similar things. What would you save? It will have to last humanity for the rest of history.

Don't want to make a fool of myself at the library. How do men read? Posture, disposition, duration, ritual, etc....
Can I talk to myself, rock back and forth, stim, moan, etc.... as is my custom in intense concentration? Or silent and motionless? Acceptable intervals for read/break. Proper break consists in?....scribbling notes? Reclining backwards in contemplative absorption?
