Italian Futurism has the most alluring aesthetic out of nearly any 20th century movement, but it's underpinned by some deeply fascistic logic. If you want a movement with the same sense of bombast and hyperspeed with a little more moral integrity, definitely check out the movement known as vorticism and the two issues of BLAST magazine. Whether you agree with the politics and propaganda of it or not, you can't deny just how innovative it was in the field of graphic design.
