Wagecuck here. How do I abandon earthly pursuits and desires and simply focus on my writing. Whenever I feel galvanized to write something always comes up or I find a reason to put it off. For years I’ve dreamed of becoming a writer. But reality has me focusing on my career and earning more income. I’m doing this only because I’ve given in to societal norms. What should I do?
