They are perfectly fine. I think Fagles and Pope are the best but also understand if someone prefers literally anyone else.

The best book you'll ever read, most probably. I continue to be amazed by its depth, and I've read no other work that does what the Iliad does so well.

The one of these that you find the most beautiful and fitting. I went with Fagles, got the Box set of The Iliad, The Odyssey and The Aeneid and next year I'm going to read the Pope translations. Something else might work for you though.

I have the Illiad/Odyssey/Aeneid Fagles box set and I love it but it really boils down to what you want and expect from the translation. Pic related
