LMAO. I already knew Evola was retarded but this quote was the icing on the cake. Everything he said and your summary was completely wrong.

>Promiscuity and sexual lavishness is the logical conclusion of the secularization of the mother-themed doctrines like the Vedanta

Vedanta explicitly and at length talks about how lust is one of the main causes of bondage and about how it's both the product of and a producer of ignorance and suffering. Promiscuity is the opposite of what Vedanta teaches. Vedanta is not at all mother-themed but is genderless, if anything Brahman and Its manifestations are almost always referred to with in the masculine.

>where everything is just one and illusory: there are no races, no hierarchy, and no nobility of character.

From the viewpoint of Absolute reality this is true but for the conventional sake of a harmonious and righteous society here on earth these are regarded as important in Vedantic thought. The very first determinate of universal manifestation is Dharma in which is established the proper guidelines for conduct such as non-violence, fulfilling the role you are meant to play in society, treating your superiors with reverence, raising a proper family, the various stages of life etc. These things you mention are only considered illusionary from the view someone who has renounced society and possessions as a sanyassa and has no reason to observe distinctions anymore. Vedantic texts generally uphold the caste system as proper and extol noble behavior.

>This appeals to people because it provides them comfort and pleasure. Even more, everything being illusory, there are no consequences to reap from their actions (at least in their heads).

Vedanta explicitly teaches transcending pain and pleasure as being merely products of the mind, hedonism is the opposite of what it teaches. It teaches that consequences arise from ignorant and karmic-inducing behavior (like lust, anger, greed, etc) but that when on becomes liberated one acts without consequence anymore (by only acting virtuously).
