Just begun to read this, what do i think about it?

I just began reading this, do i like it?

Starting this right now, what can I expect? (this is my first Gene Wolfe book)

Why did Able call Gylf Gawain in chapter 26 of the Wizard? Was it the name of Arthur and Ben’s dog in America? Or is it just some obscure Arthurian reference I’m not getting

Just finished this -- first fantasy novel I've read in a very long time. I like how Wolfe slowly doles out exposition instead of dropping it all at once. He also does a good job of giving the reader enough info to get the general picture of the world but still leaves a lot up to the imagination. The character development from book 1 to book 2 was done well. My one complaint is that the pacing picks up really suddenly at the end of book 2 and I wish those scenes hadn't gone by so quickly. I would not have minded an extra 30-40 pages. I appreciate Wolfe spending a good amount of time describing hot, naked aelf chicks. Uri and Baki are based as fuck. Anyways what do you bros think of the Wizard Knight?
