Difficult, since the world is so interconnected and information can be transferred in an instant.
My goal is living the libertarian dream: homesteading, homeschooling in a rural area. You need to have full control over the media that you are seeing.
Limiting your internet access, adding filterlists to your router, having no cable tv, no radio, listen to CDs, etc.
You will find more similar minded people outside of the cities and outside of the suburbs.
It's more diffciult in the cities, since you don't have glasses where you can download uBlock Origin to remove all the ads you see. Besides there is not a lot left to do in cities besides media consumption and working. You will be reminded all the time of the decline of the west, the archtitecture (new and old), theatre plays, movies, radio, clothing, the language the people are using, tourists, drug abuse, immigration, obsession with consumption.
Either way I don't think, that money is the primary limiting factor. I mean if you live in the USA or in Canada just get a firewatch tower job or something like that. If you live in a crowded country that doesn't offer you living in a area with low population density then you will have to migrate which is shit as well.
