I have a journal I've written on off and on (mostly off) for two years. Leafing through the pages it's over and over again: "i will write every day from now on" and "I'm depressed, but things will get better..." Neither have proven to be true.

Sometimes it's rough sketches of projects I'd like to write or do research for. Attempts at doing so never survive past the first paragraph.

I've got a sense of humor about it, though. I'll jump back into it soon enough.

They hate him because his words once crawled deep inside of them and became a part of themselves. They hate themselves and so violently reject anything that isn't their aspirations for what they would like to see themselves become.
