Hey guys,

I've been reading Yukio Mishima and I've read The man who fell from Grace with the sea and the sound of waves so far. What's really interested me about his take on romance is the dichotomy that the male must sequester his thoughts, his desires, and his dreams to achieve love. While I'm sure the underlying premise can be critiqued or discussed, are there other authors that create romance novels from the perspective of the male?

Great book. Haven't seen the Kubrick one. Got into a conversation about the book with a checker, she actually has the newer movie and said I could watch it with her after her shift was over, which I was going to do until I realized I could just borrow it, which I plan to this week. Pretty excited actually.
