I was thinking of getting into German there's more German authors and thinkers that interest me. I fuckin hate the damn autistic Krauts on fucking 4chan and every fucking stupid fucking Jerry fucking cunt I meet except a few cute guys I met but otherwise I'm fascinated by the brusque-ness and the compoundy-ness of their language and I'm so fond of their writers and thinkers and history.

My friend is learning French, and I like the sound of the language, but my interest in French literature, culture and philosophy is more disinterested and clinical. I'm always rediscovering something in the German world. The idea of being able to read Mann, Musil, Kafka, Goethe, Sebald, Strom, Kant, Hegel, Heine, Benn, Boll, Nietzsche, Schopenhauer, Zweig, Wagner, Junger, Habermas, Marx, Stirner, Hitler, Goebbels etc. in the original language...!!
