Races exist and they differ in intelligence, but this explanation still doesn't answer the question, why there are differences in IQ between races. So geographical explanation is fine as long as we acknowledge the fact that it could lead to these differences. some places are just better to develop agriculture and then higher IQ, because of new environment and new lifestyle completely different from hunter-gathering tribes. So we basically end up with biological pressure to develop such skills which require abstract thinking.

How come at no point does Diamond address the glaring issue of selective pressures?
