If I accept non-dualism , does it matter? If there is no free will, then like Nietzsche’s Zarathustra can I not go down the mountain and seek to play the game. I can have this knowledge, yet there is no reason I ought or ought not accept it. Only that there is what there is and I shall do what I do. Can one know the truth and live the lie? If all is one than the truth and the illusion are the same, and there only is, and what I shall do is no different than if I didn't do it, no different than being a guru, a dictator, or a libertine soul. So then Augustine is right, that only grace can free one's heart. Only in knowledge that there is no free will, only then are we free to do anything. Perhaps I shall become a Catholic, perhaps I will do nothing.

I am the living death, I am that I am, and what I do is so and shall be done no matter what it is. Only guilt than is the illusion. Nihilism is then the meaning. With great ego I say, I am nothing.

The Wealth of Nations. No I am serious, I hated my university courses and dropped out because I hated compsci but was in it "for the money". Wealth of Nations made me very interested in economics and society at large and I went back and got my degree in Economics and actually enjoyed my time.

Here are my own personal thoughts on Peterson, he was a needed person for the normie intellectual side to move on from New Atheism. If it weren’t for JP, the modern political and intellectual climate would of been way different. And, like every intellectual, their fanbase must go beyond them. It happened with Dawkins, Harris, and Peterson. And now there’s new intellectuals, and they’re being surpassed too.

It’s all the same. The wheels go round and round.

I don't write nor create anything else. But I would really like to start. I find it amazing when you see a person and you can experience part of them put into a story or song. A certain vision that brought to life. Ideas and emotions. How do you get over rough beginnings? Do you write until you stop hating everything you wrote?

How do I get better at retaining the information I've gotten out of a book? A few months after reading a novel I can kind of recall what happened, but the themes and what's actually important about the book are way, way harder to remember, if I'm even able to.
