The accurate left right divide to me can be summarized by people who think the world is progressing upwards and those who think it's currently declining and getting worse. A Materialist mindset would see the current epoch as good and would just have problems with dispersion of goods. Whilst the real right to me is very much against materialism and usually inclined towards idealism. Quite a few marxists would fit into that catagory... So yea, it's not easy to do what you ask.

The socialists I know just want free stuff and do not want to work. Also they are more about being jealous and resentful toward those who have managed to earn a good living than worried about helping the working class, which they seem to have replaced with a resentful failure "class".
