It's part that, and part directed brigading. Communist groups in league with Antifa and BLM are launching coordinated raids on /lit/ and many other boards. I feel a little insane having to type that out but it's true. I've been in a few discord chats where they discuss it (it's easy to get in if you followed some of the commie subreddits prior to the chapo ban). It was literally all fun and games talking trash to communists then they started actively trying to overthrow the US government and trying to cleanse the internet of any wrong-think.
