Generative anthropology is old and backwater. Is it really so hard for people to understand that cultures and languages can exist independently in various way, and not be a product of an idealized origin story. There's a reason they don't teach this stuff, and it's because it's not a good theory. In fact it occupies a similar space with the structuralists, who were far more useful, but in the long term had been short changing anthropology by making generalized assumptions. There is no origin, there is no rationale, and there certainly is no point in wasting your time with it.

>but he was Christian
Yes, moreover he was a devout Catholic Anglo, and he explicitly talks about how LOTRs purpose was to revive the English mythos. If you think LOTR has anything to do with paganism your wrong. The same can be seen with CS Lewis and The Wind In The Willows, just because it has talking frogs and fauns that doesn't make it pagan. If anything you'd just be watering down paganism with anglophile stuff. I would say stick to your own shit nordfag, but you're probably a kvlt mutt who scours discogs and facebook for tasteless varg demo tapes.
