Not gonna argue one way or the other, tho I do largely fall on the Hard Magic end of things, just thought I'd recommend a WN that has a very decent mix of soft and hard magic. It does so by establishing fairly clear power levels, w/o becoming litrpg, making it clear what abilities characters possess, by tying it up to their, or their patrons, names, and manages to maintain both behaviour largely within expectations and sense of wonder people like soft magic for. Plot's probably got a number of holes, but honestly I was so pleased with the world and people in it I didn't bother looking to closely. Would recommend, tho I warn you it's a slow burn.
