Why do you read sci-fi?
Explain your reasons.

Do you know sci-fi book where the Planet Earth (location or history) is forgotten? I know only the entire Foundation saga.
Also, do you know post-apocalyptic books where the history of the mankind is lost or modified?
Thank you
