What have I missed out on? It's almost as though the trajectory of my life was affected by the books I was assigned to read, and they chose the sanctioned quite arbitrarily, if other students had to read different books than me in school.

why does she care... I never understand people that care about stuff like that to that point... especially non poc people, is she trying to virtue signal "I'm so open minded that I teach kids non huwait man authors" ?

at least from non western stand point it seems too bizarre, since people around the globe, including here, if anything, take pride in the abundance of authors that come from one's nation
