aren't we forgetting something?

what's the book that got you into reading?
for me it was unironically Mein Kampf
it's quite literally a book about everything
every 10 pages a lesson, on any topic you can imagine (short of cooking recipes)
before i read this book, i had read 0 books for pleasure, but in the time since i started Mein Kampf, i've finished 3 other books on the side.

To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Mein Kampf. The ideology is extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of nationalism most of the points will go over a typical reader's head. There's also Hitler's nationalistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from Nietzsche's literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these writings, to realize that they're not just true- they say something deep about LIFE.

that being said, Mein Kampf is not a work of philosophical fiction, and your use of the Führer to illustrate this genre is disrespectful.
