I think I'm going to give up writing, lads.
I'm so discouraged. Nothing I write goes anywhere. I have so many stories that I want to write, but I have no idea how to do it. I get maybe 20 pages in, and then I can't get any further no matter how hard I try. I'm about to cry. I don't know what to do.

If you read 1 book per week that will mean you will have read 52 books per year.
That means it will take me roughly 5 years to complete it, and that's assuming I don't add anything and can read tomes like The Bible, The Republic or In Search of Lost Time in a week.

As someone whose brain suddenly went from normal to having severe anxiety issues for no good reason a year ago, can confirm that the brain just does that sometimes. I'm sure it can be the same for depression, too. Though it's still true that many cases of depression are just the result of self-destructive behavior.
