Wouldn't you need books that present evidence to the contrary, or at least one that proposes a theory with the same level of empirical evidence as evolution? Why don't you try to read about why evolution is true and then try to debunk it from there, provided you're being honest about this quest? The goal of science, not scientism, is to refine theory as much as possible so they can better explained nature so if you were to demonstrate that evolution is false, I'm sure the scientific community would be rejoiced. The only problem is that the amount of evidence for evolution is so vast that it's become a fact; that's how scientific theories work, unlike the way we "theory" in our daily life.
