Only Forward by Michael Marshall Smith is solid and has some interesting concepts if you can deal with a few plot holes.

The Quantum Thief series by Hannu Rajaniemi is also really good.

Just finished The Quantum Thief, I was wondering if anyone who has read the sequels could say how they compare to the first book?

Has some game theory at least.

What books would you suggest that are in similar vein to Quantum Thief trilogy in the style of maximum showing and minimum telling?

Just finished this trilogy, and it's one of the most awesome sci-fi stories I've ever read. I'm just kind of at a loss as to what exactly happened in the end. If anyone could shed some light on this, I'll give you all my upvotes.
