The only thing I've found so far is Too Like the Lightning and there's almost no similarities other than the fact that one of the characters is a bit like Oz Vessalius and can bring toys to life, a Vincent like character, dead people and a character who gives me Jack Vessalius vibes about 10% of the time. Too bad that interesting story line about things that happened in the past is only about 15% of the novel and it's science fiction rather than fantasy.

Although if you like the PH like plot, you might want to try D Gray Man because of the velocity of suffering.

Of the last batch of books I read Raven Stratagem was a bit disappointing, Jose Farmer's shit was awful, Prisoners of Power was quite good but mostly in terms of Strugatsky books:

Prisoners is the Strugatsky's trying to go Orwell.

I'm going to finish up on the rest of Jacques the Fatalist and probably some PKD but I also have Demolished Man and perhaps some GGK vying for some attention. We'll see.
