I never got emotional over George and overall I always found Of Mice and Men to be grossly overrated.

The Grapes of Wrath and East of Eden were pure kino, though, and hit me hard in the feels.

I can't focus on most books and it takes me a long time to read them because i get distracted so often. I read 18 books in 2017 and am still pretty proud of that.

Also i read three books of Nietzsche (genealogy, Beyond good and evil, Zarathustra) but still don't really get what his philosophy is all about. If anyone is willing to help then that'd be great.

That was in July of last year, friends. I keep being hopeful, but it's been a long time. I just wnat him to know how much he's meant to me.

I would love to sit down for an evening with Gene Wolfe. I don't know if he drinks or not, but we'd sit down regardless and talk about everything.

I've actually written him a letter. I wrote it to him last July and sent it to his literary agency, who promised to pass it on to him. I haven't heard anything since. I hope he got it. I hope I get to meet him before he dies. I want to tell him how much he's meant to me.
