Would you read a story inspired by pulp adventure fiction about an expedition that lands on a mysterious island of amazons and monsters akin to One Million Years BC, The Lost World, and The Land That Time Forgot?

Basically, the expedition is sorely under prepared for surviving the island(we have guns and professionals from many technical and scientific fields, the world is ours!) where everything seems to be beyond anything they've experienced or read about. Plants and animals defy laws of evolution and development, the women are more physically imposing than the men, the terrain is harsh and nonsensical, and they're pretty sure there's paranormal shit afoot, with magic and spirits and inexplicable happenings.

Now they must survive and ingratiate themselves with the towering natives(seven foot tall warrior women are not to be trifled with, especially when you have limited ammo and they have homefield advantage), while trying to repair their ship so they can get the fuck out of there.

Or does this sound boring? I just feel like we havent had a "let's explore a lost world" kind of story in ages.
