I haven't read House of Leaves but the impression I got from reading what others had to say about it the book isn't about the mystery about a noneucludian house or even any other mystery but rather about really boring shit. I like the idea of multiple accounts and the frame narrative, a mysterious house that is changing, but the other things the book seems to be about won't do anything for me. Is the focus of the book really on homosexual drug abusing bikers connecting with their mentally ill moms or some such nonsense?
