Lesbians can be based or insufferable. I think it depends where they sit on the axis of introversion to extroversion. Something about the pungence of their personality becomes unbearable at some threshold of social aggression. I suppose it is that way for any kind of person... something particular about oversocialised queers though....

But anyway, /lit/ most of all shouldn't forget what it owes to lesbians. Barney, Dickinson, Sappho, Stein, Renault, Woolf, Yourcenar, the list goes on.

I didn't read the thread and my first instinct would be that it would've been a shitshow, but yeah mods do that all the time. So many fun and interesting threads killed.
