>Daniel Greene here, you know how for years I've said I loved Wheel of Time? Even called it the best fantasy series ever? Well I love defending corporations making changes in the name of woke politics more.

>...and I, upon re-reading The Eye of the World, have gone through cycles where I was like, "Oh, this is clearly Robert Jordan's weakest writing, he gets better as a writer from here," but he's still damn good. Like, he still [has] wonderful prose that a lot of people write off, but he does the Sanderson approach, where there's a lot of simplicity to what he puts forth but there's also so much beauty, and the practical nature of the soul of his writing really allows you to feel the more country lens we're supposed to be being told this story through.
Thoughts? It seems with the Amazon series coming out in a few months a lot of people are reading WoT and I was thinking about doing the same. To the anons who have read it, is it any good? I'm a bit wary of starting a 14-book-long series

What is /lit/'s opinion of this up and coming booktuber, Daniel Greene? He currently has 250k subs in YT right now and I really liked his content at first but he's gotten quite political lately.

Here's a summary of what I know about him.

>Reviews mostly sci-fi/fantasy books. He recently got into reviewing some anime.

>Made a bad review on the Berserk manga but made a follow up video after receiving negative responses.

> Is a huge fan of the author Brandon Sanderson, who he has interviewed before in channel

> Is a Nihilist. He said so in his Q&A

>Is very affected by any author's opinions and political beliefs. His Twitter is filled with a lot of Left-wing pol. He has a policy where stops recommending books by authors who have controversia beliefsl. (Ex. He once promoted Ken Liu's books but stopped after he learn he was ''pro-genocide'')

>Is immersed into the idea about inserting real-world politics into fiction.

I really liked him at first but I'm not sure what to think about him anymore.
