Study bibles and footnotes are a horrible way to read the bible. Once you get saved and become a believer, you'd have the indwelling of the Holy Spirit, who will teach you all things.

Study bibles are the wisdom of men and most of them are contaminated with political (zionist) propaganda. Look at the fruit of the scofield bibles and the false doctrine of dispensationalism. All you need when you read the bible is the uncorrupted seed that is the word of God (KJV in English language), The Holy Spirit, and the reader. OT is not fiction, there seems to be a lot of contradicting statements and other parts don't seem to add up firstly because most modern bible versions are contaminated and secondly the whole world is designed to sway you from Christian faith by the time you reach voting age.
