Tell me about this book. You said you felt the author was an honorary anarchist, why?

All the insults come from a very frustrated wage slave. Could I apologize to a blank wall calling itself “Anonymous”?

>the rich
The system is bad and it turn out bad people and is ruining the world, the flora and fauna and all the people I love. You deny the climate is changing as a result of human activity? Probably do, since you deny the responsibility of the wealthy for causing poverty and war for profits.

Perhaps I can’t win in a debate, but these are things I’ve learned in my time. I urge you to learn it too.

Fascists are capitalists, same as socdem and failed state socialism.
Monarchs have at time forgiven debts to revitalize their kingdoms. In a limited sense some of them could be seen as “left”

Oh, it’s been a while. I got a lot out of God and State, Marxism Freedom and State, and His bit about the Paris Commune.

And I’m really liking Mollison. Seems an honorary anarchist to me

Depends on where you want to go in life at this time. Lots of great book to choose from. Do try to avoid bad fluff (as there’s lots of good fluff to choose from too)

Something I wish I spent more time reading in the past is Le Guin’s books. She’s great.
Also this book. I know my mother would have loved it.

Along the The One Straw Revolution lines, I got Bill Mollison’s Permaculture.

For fiction, would Sometimes a Great Notion be appropriate?

How do you mean “dynamic discourse” exactly?

>>14246942
The comparison assumes there is a proper “dad” in the picture, but there never was. People are like an extended family, but no parent is in the house. A jerky older brother has locked himself in the master bedroom and started dictating orders on how things are done.
So we advocate a big fuck you to that jerk.

Here’s a book I’ve been reading some from. As if I’m gonna be a farmer... I love it.

Can’t make cars and cell phones at first. Fine. We ought to start with food stuff anyway.
You people with autism, bipolar disorder, allergies, suicidal tendencies, you’re probably feeling the effects of double doses of glyphosate in your food. Your mother ate it while you were in the womb and you likely eat it daily now. Clean food is a good start.

I’m not going to read Lenin or Stalin either
Again, we don’t have to give up freedom and (actual) wealth to preserve our environment. We have to increase it by getting rid of capitalism and statism.

There’s no easy way out. Subvert the status quo wherever and whenever you can.
I see things about people “getting off the grid”, well we all need to do that together.

Yes, a lot of work, and no, not out on your own. But that’s not necessarily a bad thing.
