Reminder if your critique of capitalism is grounded in instability, unfair rent distribution, or struggles between sociological classes, you're to marx essentially utopian & advocating for the sort of socialism the schumpeters of the world found reconciliable with capitalism

So are all 3 volumes still worth reading or is it dated? Are there better books for understanding capitalism in the current year?

redpill me on marx i have read a bit of some 20th century marxists like adorno, benjamin, bloch, and debord and like their ideas but i have never tried reading marx i have always been reluctant of reading dense door stoppers. are the three volumes of capital worth reading? also what is a good companion to read along with it?

Is Marx's Capital worth reading at all? This looks like a dense slog to read. Ive read some 20th century Marxists and found them pretty interesting and feel like I have a good undwrstanding of what thwy are saying without reading Marx.
