let's be real here, old school philosophers wouldn't want anything to do with rightoids or leftoids of today. the reason why the quality of philosophers is so low in the public sphere is because any quality philosopher isn't going to waste their time trying to sell an ideology or even a sense of reality to the dumb zombies that consume mass media.

snake oil salesman that pulls the switch at the 11th hour. he's crafty and has interesting/intelligent opinions along with skill but at the end of the day he's a pied piper knowingly and intentionally
