What does /lit/ think of Guénon's take on modern archeology?

Especially in the chapter on "Shamanism and Sorcery" in Reign of Quantity he talks/hint how modern obsession with "digging up the past" and dead tombs of the pharaohs activates the psychic residues of those past civilizations, in a negative sense

Some traditionalist authors have also argued, that the founding of America itself, with the united states seal adopting trunctuated pyramid etc. as their design were obsessed with Egypto-Atlantean psychic residues

Some points are also made on Islamic hadiths, how the Prophet would like... walk some past ruins and say to his followers that yeah, you should not go there or go digging there.

Do you think that violating ancient tombs, egyptomania etc. could activate some sort of residues? And what does it tell of America itself with Las Vegas Luxor Pyramids and Annuit Coeptis Pyramids symbolism. etc?
