Pretty funny and great characterization. This is why I really enjoy Sanderson.
Dalinar is one of the most gigachad characters I've ever read, his story is great.

The audiobook is of very high quality, so if you like audiobooks, I recommend doing it that way. The Way of Kings deserves its exceptional length, but I personally did find some of the middle bridge crew arch a little stifling, but not overly so because of the other POVs we switch to and the slightly nonlinear story. It's also not like nothing happens in those parts, either. The pace is really good for such a long book. Once I was finished with the audiobook, I bought both The Way of Kings and Words of Radiance in hardback right away.

300 pages? No thanks, I’ll just wait for the movie.
