What are some good books to read in a hospital/ while sick?

what the fuck is the point of it all

Does there exist any books on the philosophy of not giving a shit about anything? Like pure lazy solipsism. It cannot somehow be made to seem 'just' or 'logical'. I want to read a book where the author could barely muster the ambition to put his words on paper. Laziness even, to the extent of justifying suicide.

Obviously, I do not share these feelings, nor believe they are of any value, but the concept is funny to me. I am endlessly entertained by just how useless people can be. I think the closest I've ever found is The Stranger, a book which came across as hilarious to me, until things kind of got serious anyways.
