I said that hunter-gatherers choose the easiest path available to them, to illustrate that taking the easy way is the norm. I didn't say that their life is easier than mine.

For me to move to the wilderness in a different country illegally to join some local tribe, learn their language and way of life et cetera is a lot of hassle so it would the opposite of living by that principle. For me, the path of least resistance is to collect welfare, housing and healthcare and relax and take it easy and enjoy activities I like, paid for in taxes by people like you.
