Sorry, not autistic enough (or too pussy, however you want to see it).
She did launch into a rant about religion and brought up Karl Marx (specifically his opium quote) though (For context we were talking about James Baldwin and his struggles as a gay black man with things like religion).
Might bring up how I'm not a Marxist or leftist at all but I don't think I'm going to make a philosophical stand.
You gotta feel for the leftist though, most of their comrades are brainwashed useless idiots and a lot of the young, smart (mid), politically enthusiastic guys have a deep resentment towards their philosophy and ideology. Must be painful

I have The Count of Monte Cristo waiting for me to finally get motivated enough.
There's also complete works of William Hope Hodgson that I plan to go through. I've read some, but it's the kind of work I need to take a break from after reading one story and come back after some time to read another.
Still haven't finished Cheri-Bibi series, so that's a must.
Otherwise I'll re-read Fantômas and read whatever anons might recommend.

This very much. I need to read articles for report references, textbooks for studying and some magazines to follow the news. I barely finish a 300 pages of a book in a month and them being science oriented ones doesn't help either desu. I'm currently reading "from bacteria to bach and back" for 2 weeks and I'm at 15% lol.
