I wrote 55 pages of fucking nonsense while I was insomniac. If I had kept and edited it it would have made a very nice little memoir. I touched upon some very nice points. Very poignant, very imaginative. Every person has a perspective, no matter how trite. And practicing writing perfects writing. Besides, the best way to reach the diamonds in the shafts of one's mind is to write down every little thought.

This guy is a bloody genius, but not enough to see that everyone at that gathering wants to dogpile him. He's playing the objective, constructing thoughts and ideas that they can't even approach while they attack his character and look around the room to see if they still belong to the in-group. I disagree with him, that writing is living. Living is the source of all writing.
