I feel like this book is try-harding to make me hate atheism but, because Ivan only talks about christianity, I'm having the opposite effect which is hating christianity. On book 5 right now.

Can anyone tell me when does Fyodor Pavlovich dies? I'm getting kind of desperate and even though I searched it on the internet I can't find any answer.

I've heard that this book has slow-paced parts and others fast-paced. When does the pace picks ups again? I feel like since Dmitri kicks Fyodor almost nothing has happened for 100 pages. Sure, some characters have [interacted] and some others were introduced. I've heard it picks up again at page 400, what are your toughts?

I want to read the whole thing but i havent read anything for several years so its kinda hard lol. I know Rebellion & Inquisitor, three talks with Smerdyakov, Ivan and devil and lectures of Zosimos are good. Also want to reccomend it to a friend so..

Before (mostly) everything went to shit. You may not like it but you know its the truth. Also idk how no one in the West knows about Orthodoxy but they know about this book, quite interesting
