What is the most contemporary relevant author working on Marxist theory?

Marx/Engles for the roots, then Lenin fills in needed theory on the State, transition, and communism. Next, Gramsci fills in why the revolutions didn't happen, and includes theories on civil society and fleshes out the super structure. Then Lacan/Althusser/Therborn/MouffeLaclau further ideology, hegemony, culture. Then Hardt and Negri theorize on globalized capitalism, then Harvey/Jameson give us Marxism within postmodernism.
