No. It's the written equivalent of Marvel movies. If you like Marvel movies you might like it, but honestly I think people who like Marvel movies should be set on fire.
It also devolves into Sanderson preaching about mental illness and how we have to support people who are mentally ill for some reason. It's baffling.

Sandersons writing IS bad. A bad writer who isn't poplar isn't going to bother people, because they lack influence and cannot set market trends. A bad writer who IS popular is much worse, because they inspire even more bad writing, they set the trend. Therefore hating him based on his popularity is completely justified. Nobody would care is he was just some autist writing tomes being released on kindle unlimited simply because in that case he wouldn't be making everything else worse by association.

It gets legitimately horrific in Stormlight. The Mistborn books are at least kind of brief for Sanderson, but with the Stormlight books, I think they average like 1100 pages between them, and you could easily cut 600 of them and lose nothing but horrendous exposition or retreading the same shit that's already been exposed.
