Been reading some Aquinas and man, I wish I could go back in time to the 12th century when the Catholic church was all scholastic. Nowadays it's so confusing what with all the Mary worship and Pope Francis pretty much officially spouting heresies, or are they heresies? Am *I* the heretic? Such an epistemological mind-maze. Wish I could go back to a simpler time when the Catholic Church was unbelievably badass and scriptural. Guess all we can do is put our faith in Jesus to save us even though it's pretty much impossible to find the "right" path or the "right" church with our depraved human reasoning
