>chock full of women
>get constantly shit on because they literally don't understand your "complex" phrases (I've spent years simplifying my writing)
>try to be the bigger man and take the criticism with a bit of salt

But then I go and read their short stories and these fucking roasties are literally dumb whores and housewives that can't write for shit. Like, they get wrong even basic stuff like the consecutio temporum. Fuck.

The other thing I always get is the "You really shouldnt repeat this word too much" everytime I consciously and very blatantly use an anaphora to give a certain rythm to my prose.
