Excessive masturbation and dope-smoking have dysregulated my dopamine system. I should get my baseline dopamine back into spec, but that would require ninety days of abstinence. I don't know if I'm willing to do that. I am very lonely, bored, and depressed. Sure, ninety days from now I could be a clear-eyed, properly regulated man, but what for? I would still be alone. Still waiting to die. I suppose I could give it a try and see what happens. Ninety days. No scrolling, no stroking, no smoking. I'll start tomorrow, of course.
