Why is Lutheran fideist autism (Kant, Kierkegaard, Luther, Calvin, Hegel, etc.) shilled here over intellectual minds who accept philosophical realism such as Aquinas? Is the germanic genome a plague upon /lit/?

Stop posting this heretic. He's currently being tortured by our Creator in hell.

The obvious ones. Aquinas, Augustine, CS Lewis, Chesterton. Don't fall for the Kierkegaard trap, though.

There's no point in reading the mad heretical writings of Kierkegaard. He's more of a poet than a metaphysician.

Let us then examine this point, and say, "God is, or He is not." But to which side shall we incline? Reason can decide nothing here.

>The First Vatican Council boldly declares:

He's a nasty writer and much more of a poet than a metaphysician. Trust your intuition, his philosophy is downright dangerous if applied. In all honesty, he is considered a bit of a joke in the patrician club.
