I remember in one of the Charlie Rose interviews, not sure which one, Rose asks him what poem will be in his head when he draws his last breath, and he recited pic related from memory. It was such a genuine moment, it really struck me personally and lit a fire in me for literature and poetry that has since wavered, but never truly gone out. It remains my favorite poem, in dedication to him. I hope he was at peace in the end, and I wish peace on his friends and family, who surely miss him dearly.
