Who are your favourite /lit/ characters of all time (and why, preferably)? Let's hear your top 3.

Mine:
3. Prince Myshkin -- the pure expression of goodness and its naïveté in a world of evil and suffering
2. Achilles -- the ultimate tragic hero, sees the futility of war yet accepts his fate to die in battle out of wrath and loss
1. Satan (Paradise Lost) -- the ultimate tragic villain, easily the greatest rhetorician in English literature who can fool 1/3rd of the angels, Eve and the reader, but not himself as he descends into a twisted self-loathing that is directed outward at everything that is good
