Critiquing things is a very simple skill, just look up any semi-"deep" book or movie or whatever on youtube and there will be literally thousands of videos ranging from half an hour to an hour talking about how "deep" it is and making all sorts of smart sounding theories and observations (which is also very easy to do, if you really stretch it you can make fucking Blues Clues sound like a Shakespearean drama).
Of course actually making something is very different, writing isn't even a skill, it's a collection of dozens of skills all coming together into a well crafted work, you have to consider thousands of things and how they all interact with each other before you even type out your first sentence. Just doing some autistic "world building," coming up with the most basic poorly thought out story you can with one note characters and immediately jumping in is pretty much guaranteed you're gonna end up with shit.

>Main character is a "boy/girl who no one understands because of their secret power that turns out to make them super special" or "normal girl/boy who one day discovers they have a secret power"
No, adding "fuck" every few sentences doesn't make your YA-tier writing mature
