As someone who lurks and lurks around 4chan I can say it is, even if /lit/ gets raided by stormfront propaganda (the subliminal OPs with nazi/hitler pics and the outright fascist/neo-con book shilling you see daily) there is still many who remember this is where Zizek was king.

Of course you now mostly see spam of stuff like Peterson, Nick Land, Sowell, or the now almost forgotten Ayn Rand. But that is just spam. But, people gets tired of having serious threads being drowned by the fascist shitposting squad you know. Is like any civil discussion about philosophy has to be trolled to the dead if it has marxist or anarchist tones. So yes, some veterans abandoned /lit/ over the years in search of more serious boards, but some remain.
